It's a challenge for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

This is the team that has claimed seven Cricket World Cups, plus an additional six T20 titles, and earlier maintained 1,294 days without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, the ones sought by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a side that has won it all.

It needed up to Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to achieve their initial ODI chase over 300, reclaiming their record for the highest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, in truth, a tribute to the bowling attack that have worn canary yellow over the past 50 years.

It's challenging for their batters to maintain a record if never given the chance.

Ultimately, the result of Australia allowing 330 runs was captain Alyssa Healy receiving an opportunity to deliver her newest gem.

Then best known as the teenage relative of celebrated previous Aussie wicketkeeper Ian, she first played in 2010 after her nation failed to win either of the T20 or ODI World Cups held the previous year and has witnessed all through 15 trophy-laden years since.

A T20 World Cup win arrived three months after her debut and seven world titles have followed from 10 tries across formats.

That loss "drove us to rethink our standards," Healy commented earlier.

At the following one-day championship in New Zealand, Healy scored 170 against England in the championship match and was declared player of the series. She made sure her country would not fall short again.

Whether this latest epic knock topped that previous effort can be debated.

Certain people claim the reasoning behind championship match pressure. Some might respond with the test that comes when pursuing an unprecedented total and a raucous India-supporting crowd of 20,000.

What's clear is this hundred was considerably tougher to anticipate.

By the time she was dismissed the team needed 66 additional runs at a run-a-ball - an unconquered height now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"Chasing 330 runs is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the confidence to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to repeat it but, should it happen, we know we can succeed."

Those words will be the last Australia's opponents at this tournament need to hear.

In recent days a feeling they will triumph from any situation has grown stronger - this success following victory over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite struggling at 76-7 at one stage.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a semi-final berth may likely be confirmed.

During that phase they were eliminated from last year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a match Healy was absent due to damaged tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the inaugural occasion at a major tournament.
